About 300 small and medium entrepreneurs received training in the use of digital marketing tools from Meta trainers at the recent 'GP-Meta Boost Up', training at GP House in the capital.
The 'GP-Meta Boost Up' was attended by Grameenphone CMO Mohammad Sajjad Hasib; CDSO Solaiman Alam and CBO Asif Naimur Rashid. Others in attendance included Johnny Johansson of Meta's APAC Emerging Markets team and Nasima Akhter Nisha, President of the Women and E-Commerce Forum (WE).
Grameenphone CMO Mohammad Sajjad Hasib said, “Connectivity has affected our way of life, especially after the global pandemic where we are doing everything digitally. People are now getting used to the digital lifestyle for work, entertainment, education, healthcare and even financial services. This training will help businesses grow and communicate more easily with customers through innovative and cost-effective digital means. Trainers from Meta's authorized sales partner HTTPpool in Bangladesh trained 150 registered trainees in two sessions on business concepts, strategies and best practices, which will help build better relationships with customers through Facebook.
