On October 23, he left home for work. Since then he was missing. The next day the villagers found a python with a big belly. Later, after they killed the python, the body of the woman was found in the python's stomach. Later he was rescued by locals.
Betara Zambi police chief AKPS Harefa told the media that the victim's body was found in the stomach of a python. Most of his body was completely intact. The previous night the woman's husband found his wife's clothes and working tools. The next day the 16 feet long python was spotted.
Although such incidents are rare, this is not the first time that a python has swallowed a person whole in Indonesia. Some such incidents happened in the country in 2017 and 2018 as well.
