In the paper, Jing Shing noted that the pollution levels in the homes and surrounding areas of certain women aged 40 to 50 were measured for 8 consecutive years to understand if there was any connection between obesity and air pollution.
The study also found that exposure to pollution increased women's body fat by about 4.5 percent.
