The Dhaka Times Desk Chhabbir Mahmood Mamun, a college student of Noakhali's Kabirhat, has created a Bengali-speaking robot. Many people throng his house every day to see the robot named Padmasetu.

This robot is saying the names of famous people including the Prime Minister of the country effortlessly. Answers if asked.

An inventor of many things since childhood, Mamun is currently studying business education at Basurhat Govt. Mujib College, Companyganj. Mamun became the first at the upazila level twice in a row at the 42nd and 43rd National Science and Technology Fair by presenting his own smart road, dustbin and window. It didn't take much time, Mamun made the robot in just 6 months of effort.

Inventor Chabbir Mahmood Mamun said, “A rover is valuable among them. We are also developing a robot that can be sent to Mars. I am also working on a drone that will be like a bird.”

Relatives and local neighbors are happy to see Mamun's low-cost robot in remote areas. The mayor of the local municipality has assured cooperation by citing the indomitable courage and enthusiasm of this young man.

Kabirhat Municipality Mayor Zahirul Haque Raihan told the media, "What kind of support he wants, we will give him full support at the personal and state level."
