The Dhaka Times Desk The country's popular online food and grocery delivery platform, Foodpanda Bangladesh Limited awarded the top riders who scored the highest in terms of customer order delivery.
Recently, the winners of this campaign were awarded in a ceremony at the head office of the organization in the capital. Foodpanda launched a campaign titled 'Eid Bonanza' last July to motivate riders and provide them with additional earning opportunities during the Eid holidays.
On behalf of Foodpanda Bangladesh Limited, Khandkar Andalib Hasan Masnoon Director (Operations), Jamal Yusuf Zuberi Director (Finance), Gazi Tawheed Ahmed, Head of Corporate Affairs and Media Relations and Mohammad Tabrez Khan, Head of Logistics handed over the prizes to the winning riders.
This campaign started on July 1 and will continue till July 16. More than 8 thousand riders participated in this campaign. Among the participants, 88 people were selected as winners of this campaign. Out of which 72 riders from 9 zones (regions) of capital Dhaka, 8 riders from Chittagong and 8 riders from Narayanganj were announced as winners.
Top 33 riders (zone-wise) were awarded mobile phones and 55 riders (zone-wise) were given bicycles at the awarding ceremony. The highest numbered rider in this campaign, Mohammad Sabuj Islam, was given a motorbike as a prize. Durant, TVS and Sumash Tech are gift partners of the campaign.
In this regard, Foodpanda Bangladesh Director (Operations) Khandkar Andalib Hasan Masnun said, "We give the riders the opportunity to work at the place of their choice according to their wishes. Along with that, they also get freedom in work. We take various initiatives from time to time to motivate the riders. The 'Eid Bonanza' campaign for riders is part of this initiative.
