Chanchal Chowdhury in stage play again

Chanchal Chowdhury got immense popularity after entering television. He has achieved equal success in movies as well. However, due to the busyness of TV and movies, there was no opportunity to act on stage regularly. The actor was last seen on stage in March 2020, in Aranyaka's play 'Cher Cycle'. Chanchal Chowdhury will be seen on stage again after more than two years.

Chanchal Chowdhury is returning to the stage again with the 200th staging of Aranyak's hugely popular play 'Rarang'. The 199th and 200th performances of the play 'Rarang' will be held on Thursday and Friday at Parikshan Theater Hall of Shilpakala Academy. Chanchal Chowdhury will be seen on stage both these days.

Chanchal Chowdhury said in this regard, I have completed 25 years in 'Aranyak' theater troupe. I started with that 'Black Giant' stage play. After that, they took part in many stage plays, road plays like Kadam Ali, Iblish, Prakrit Janakatha, Mayur Singhasan, Jay Jayanti, Sankranti, Rarang, Che's Cycle, Sleep Man, Debre Sang, Shatrugan, Oi As. In the past 25 years, sometimes working behind the stage, sometimes standing on the stage for acting. It was from this 'Aranyak' theater troupe that Natyaguru Mamunur Rashid was introduced to acting.

'Aranyak' completed 50 years of industrial journey. On this occasion, the party has also planned various events throughout the year. As part of this event, there is staging of 'Rarang' play. It is known that apart from Chanchal Chowdhury, actors Shamim Zaman, Akham Hasan and Jayraj will be seen in the staging of 'Raarang' on the occasion of the special exhibition.
