Sahid-Tareen won the drama award

The Dhaka Times Desk Poet, lyricist and dramatist Sahid Rahman and actress Tareen Jahan won the Best Playwright Award at Traub Award 2022 for the play 'Ami Mayer Kake Jao' based on the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Television Reporters Unity of Bangladesh (TRAB) recently organized the 28th TRAB Award at a five-star hotel in the capital. In this event, Minister of Information and Broadcasting. They received the award from Hasan Mahmud. Dihan, the child artist who played the role of Sheikh Russell in the play, was also present on the stage this time.

TRAB President Salam Mahmud, Bachass President Raju Alim, ATN Bangla Advisor Tashik Ahmed, TRAB General Secretary Anjan Rahman, Dhaka University Teacher Professor Hamida Khanam and others were also present in this event.

In a response to this issue, Sahid Rahman told the media that for the past few years, I have been consistently writing and producing films on the assassination of Bangabandhu. After such a long time, that work has come to the attention of prominent people, so they have given an award. Thanks to the organizers for this.

It should be noted that Trab gave this award to about 43 artists and crews in various categories of film, music, drama and television.
