He asked the boy's teacher for help of only 500 rupees to buy food for the hungry children. Seeing his plight, the teacher started a campaign asking for help through social media. After that post, many people have sent lakhs of rupees for the woman. So far that family has received help of 55 lakh rupees!
Ever since her husband died in August, Subhadra has been struggling to provide food for the family. He was also unable to find a job as the youngest of his three sons has cerebral palsy. He has to look after her all the time.
Recently Subhadra went to her 2nd son's school teacher Girija Harikumar and said that there is nothing left to feed the boys in her house.
In this regard, Hindi language teacher Miz Harikumar said that she had asked her students Abhishek before whether they were facing any problems after the death of their father. This is the first time Abhishek or his mother asked me for help. Then I gave him 1000 rupees and said that I will do something. Then I went to their house and saw them living in poverty. There is a little food grain in their kitchen, but nothing for the children to eat. Then I thought, there is no point in giving a little help to Subhadra. Because it will not benefit his family."
He said, after that, a post was made on Facebook informing about the condition of the family and urging everyone to help them if possible. Miz Harikumar also mentioned Subhadra's bank account number in that post. So that aid reaches Subhadra directly. Meanwhile, the post went viral.
Teacher Miz Harikumar said that 55 lakh rupees have already been deposited in Subhadra's account. Some of this money will be used to complete Subhadra's unfinished house, which her husband had started before his death. The rest of the money will be deposited in the bank to cover their expenses.
