Every metro rail station has three floors. Beyond the first floor of the station, the second floor houses the officers' offices, ticket counters and waiting rooms. This is called a 'concourse label'. Passengers have to collect tickets from here.

There are two methods of booking tickets for travel to destinations Single or Single and Permanent. Passenger must first select the language on the monitor before collecting the ticket. There are two languages English and Bengali, after selecting the language you feel comfortable with, you have to choose Single or Permanent (MRT side). Then the destination list will appear. There will be a list of fares up to which station. From there the passenger has to select the destination station. Then the list of how many tickets to collect will come. Then select required ticket, destination station and touch 'OK' button then machine will ask to pay money. After paying the ticket or MRT pass will come out. Passengers can collect metro rail tickets by following this method. A passenger cannot collect more than 5 tickets at a time.

On the other hand, the MRT pass system allows one to travel as many times as one wants with a smart card. But in that case the card must be recharged on time. Starting from 20 taka up to 10 thousand taka can be recharged. Recharge can be done through ticket vendor machines at every metro station. After collecting the tickets, go to the third floor.

Considering the convenience of the passengers, three types of arrangements have been kept at each station. Stairs, escalators as well as elevators are kept for the elderly and people with special needs. After collecting the tickets from the second floor, you have to reach the third floor by stairs or elevator. Ticket check-in will be completed on the second floor. Ticket check will also be done digitally. No workers are required there. If no one can do this then the security personnel will assist the passengers.

The main platform of the metro is located on the third floor. Trains will stop at this platform at regular intervals. The door will open automatically. You board after the passengers disembark. After the train stops at the destination station, passengers get off and punch the side of the MRT to open the door. Then you can go out to your destination. The single entry card will have a one-time travel validity. However, passengers with 10-year validity card can travel repeatedly. It will automatically deduct (minus) the fare according to the distance traveled. In this way, the passengers can board the metro rail very easily by buying the ticket. However, many may not be able to understand this at first. For that, the security personnel will assist the passengers there. So there is nothing to fear.
