এক তথ্যে জানা যায়, ২০২২ সালের প্রথম ৪ মাসে প্রায় ৭ লাখ মানুষ শুধুমাত্র মার্কিন ফ্লাইটে তাদের ব্যাগ হারিয়েছে। প্রতি বছর বিশ্বজুড়ে যাত্রীদের ব্যাগ হারানো লোকের সংখ্যা কয়েক মিলিয়ন ছাড়িয়ে যায়। আমেরিকান নাগরিক এপ্রিল গাভিনও সেই কয়েকজন ভাগ্যবান ব্যক্তির তালিকায় রয়েছেন যারা তাদের ব্যাগ কোনো এক সময় ফেরত পেয়েছেন। তবে একদিন দু’দিন নয় ৪ বছর পর!

According to a report by NDTV, April Gavin has recovered the lost bag after 4 years. Gavin, a native of Oregon, moved to Chicago for business in 2018. He was returning home on a United Airlines flight after work. But his bag was not found after getting off the plane.

April Gavin then searched for the bag for several months. But failed again and again. Even the United Airlines authorities could not solve the problem. Eventually they also give Gavin some compensation in exchange for the bag.

Gavin shares his story of losing and recovering his bag on video sharing app TikTok. He said that recently he received a call from Houston, Texas. He was informed over the phone that his bag had been found. However, this bag was not in the United States for so many years, it was abroad.

The bag was found on a plane bound for Honduras. After Gavin found out, he went to Houston and brought the bag. After 4 years the bag is also slightly damaged, the color of the bag has also faded. Gavin reported that all the items inside were completely intact.

ইউনাইটেড এয়ারলাইন্সের একজন কর্মকর্তা বলেছেন, ‘এতোদিন পরে হলেও হারিয়ে যাওয়া ব্যাগের রহস্য উদঘাটনে আমরা খুবই খুশি হয়েছি।’
