How was Google discovered?

The Dhaka Times Desk Internet existed in the world 20 years ago. But then people could not take advantage of the internet.

At that time it was not possible for people to remember the names of the millions of websites that were all over the internet. So they used to collect the information mainly by reading books or through various discussions. Later, the invention of Google search engine made the path of progress of human knowledge a thousand times easier.

In general, Google means the world's largest search engine. Google is an online software or tools to find any kind of information, images, video images, books and other things from the world wide web (www) or numerous websites spread across the internet.

ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার স্ট্যানফোর্ড ইউনিভার্সিটিতে ল্যারি পেজ ও সের্গেই ব্রিন নামে দু’জন পিএইচডি অধ্যয়নরত ছাত্র ছিলেন। তারা রিসার্চের অংশ হিসেবে একসঙ্গে একটি search algorithm তৈরি করলেন। বহু চেষ্টার পর উভয়ে যে অ্যালগরিদমটি গঠন করেছিলেন তার নাম দিয়েছিলেন “পেজ রাঙ্ক”। অ্যালগরিদম বাস্তবায়নের পুরো এক বছর পরে পেজ বুঝতে পেরেছিলেন যে, তিনি ব্যাপকভাবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু আবিষ্কার করে ফেলেছেন। কারণ হলো এটি যে ফলাফলগুলো প্রদর্শন করছে তা অন্য যে কোনো সার্চ ইঞ্জিনের ফলাফলের চেয়েও অনেক বেশি ব্যাপ্ত।

Google was launched in September 1996 mainly as a research project. After facing various difficult situations and challenges this project was successful. Which later became famous as the world's most popular search engine Google search. Initially, it was launched from the Stanford university website through google.stanford.edu and z.stanford.edu domains.

However, the official journey of Google as part of the business venture started in 1997. The Google.com domain name was first registered on September 15, 1997. Google was officially founded on September 4, 1998 and is entirely credited to Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

It is known that after almost 3 years of work, the Google algorithm code was handed over to Amit Singhal. Amit Singhal's main contribution to the algorithm was to rewrite its basic structure to more easily incorporate new search engine ranking criteria.

It is because of this algorithm that today Google search engine is at the top and has become so popular that only 8 years after the establishment of Google, the word Google has become a present tense verb.

The world's most popular search engine is one of the most profitable companies in the world. According to an information of the world famous magazine Forbes, Google's daily income is about 6 crore rupees. As such, Google earns 82 thousand rupees per second.

Google's main source of income is advertising. Most of Google's revenue comes from advertising campaigns on Google AdSense, Google AdMob and YouTube. Google also earns more money through various devices, software development and cloud computing.
