New features in Facebook Messenger include chat memes, reactions, custom chat emojis, group profile photos, link previews, and active status. Also, an Android pop-up will appear when new messages arrive in the end-to-end encrypted chat.
According to Facebook, it is also testing to make end-to-end encrypted by default. Some Facebook users may receive this notification in the coming months. Their chats are also updated end-to-end encrypted.
The social media platform also said that those users are being selected at random. Millions of users around the world will benefit from this feature of Messenger.
It has been reported that if users want to have an end-to-end encrypted chat on Facebook Messenger now, then they have to go to the chat of the person they want to talk to. Then select Secret Conversation from the menu or select it in that case.
