The Dhaka Times Desk Recently, IBA Alumni Club Limited inaugurated a club house in its own premises in the east of the capital.
With the inauguration of this new building, the Social, Recreational and Networking Club established for the graduates of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University - IBA Alumni Club Limited has moved to the permanent building.
This club was established on October 3, 2016. As part of the event, IBA Alumni Club Limited Chairman Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, invited all members of the club and their families to attend the Club Chartered Day lunch.
Speaking on the occasion, Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, said, “We are happy to have our own space for the alumni club. We had to work hard to make this dream of the club's own building a reality. We are very happy to inaugurate our complex. In future we will expand our permanent building, which will have all the world class facilities for the club members.”
In his speech, he thanked the government for allocating the social infrastructure plot and he thanked the club board members Mosleh Uz Zaman, Salahuddin Chowdhury, Rizvi Kabir, Annurul Masood and Sheikh Shabab Ahmed and others concerned for constructing the complex within the specified budget in a short time.
Ex-Directors of IBA, teachers, club members and their family members and dignitaries from various sectors of the country participated in the program with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Moreover, in recognition of the contribution of BAT Bangladesh, the IBA Alumni Club presented a crest to the managing director of the institution, Mr. Shehzad Munim.
Note that IBA Alumni Club Limited is a non-political, social and recreational club. It is a non-profit organization and operates independently to keep the club running. The inaugurated club complex offers various facilities for members including indoor and outdoor sports facilities, food and beverage services and private events.
The club's new building will allow IBA graduates to discuss and network among themselves in a friendly environment. Through the club, IBA graduates of Dhaka University will also get an opportunity to share their ideas and experiences and discuss topics of interest with others of the same background and mindset.
