Last Saturday (February 4) afternoon, the fair went to the ground and talked with the visitors. They said, the main attraction of this fair is this sweet pillow. Regardless of the price, visitors eat this sweet pillow sitting in the shop with family and friends. Many people are also taking it home for their relatives.
Rathindranath Ghosh, a sweet trader in the local Bolihar market, said, "My shop is called Ghosh Misthanna Bhandar". This is my grandfather's sweet shop. We have been making and selling sweets for almost 50 years. This year's fair is selling well. However, compared to last time, the price of sweets has also increased a little due to the increase in the price of everything.
He also said, this year we have brought pillow sweets to the fair. I am selling a pillow weighing 11 kg for 5 thousand taka. Besides, there are pillow sweets of 100 taka, 200 taka, 1 thousand 500 taka, 2 thousand taka each according to weight. Good sweets are being sold every day.
Another sweet trader Subas Das said, we are selling each Mohanbhog for 100 rupees a piece. Besides, we are selling sitabhog at 80 taka each and sammanibhog at 120 taka, pani tawa at 60 taka and rajbhog at 60 taka each.
