Nuruzzaman's first full-length film "Mango-Jacket Holiday" got censored.

The Dhaka Times Desk Mohammad Nuruzzaman's first full-length children's movie "Mango-Kanthale Khudi" got censor clearance without cutting.

On the afternoon of February 7, the film's producer-director Mohammad Nuruzzaman received the film's censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board office.

Based on the story of Sharif Uddin Sabuj, the Censor Board members were impressed with the scenery, smooth acting and realistic story format of this film. Members present at the Censor screening held at Star Cineplex could easily relate to this story of Bangladesh's traditional culture and easy-going way of life.

The director said, 'The generation who had their childhood and adolescence in the eighties and nineties of the last century will find their lost childhood in this film made in the rural background. I started making the film as an attempt to show my daughter my childhood. In other words, it was at the censor screening that anyone outside my very familiar circle saw the film for the first time.'

Along with production and direction, screenplay and dialogue writing, cinematography, editing and sound design are done by Mohammad Nuruzzaman himself. The main assistant director of this movie was 'Adeem' fame director Yuvraj Shamim.

Zubair, Lyon, Arif, Tanzil, Halima, Fatema and Kamruzzaman Kamrul acted in various roles.

The movie "Mango-Kanthale Chudi" had its international premiere at the Jagja Asian Film Festival held in Jakarta, Indonesia from November 26 to December 3 last year, where the film was screened in the Asian Perspective section. According to the information received from the Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association, the movie has been applied for theatrical release on July 21 this year.
