According to the details of the case, the case was filed in April 1990 against Harbir Singh, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, on the charge of mixing water and other adulterants in the milk. Suresh Chand, the then officer of Uttar Pradesh Food Department, was the plaintiff in that case. The hearing of the case started on April 21 that year. But the hearing of this case continues for years. Finally last year i.e. on January 18, 2022, after 31 years and 9 months, the judge of this case announced the verdict of the case.

The accused was found guilty and sentenced. While pronouncing the verdict, the judge said that the accused dudhwala Harveer was found guilty after examining all the evidence. Source: News Daily.
