The Dhaka Times Desk The shooting of the film 'Thokar', based on the stories of some common people of the society, has started. The first leg of the film has already been completed in a three-day lot.
Mazhar Babu is directing the film 'Thokar' under the banner of Friday Productions. About the film, he said, "Thokar" is being shot in small lots for the convenience of story and shooting.
The first lot was shot in a shooting house in Uttara of the capital. Monira Mithu, Saif Chandan, Asma Jhelik and Adhra Khan took part in the shoot.
Several stars will also participate in the second phase of shooting. Director Mazhar Babu said that most of the shooting of the film will be completed this month.
Adhara Khan is the heroine of 'Thokar'. Model-presenter and small-screen actor Evan Cyr is being unveiled as the hero opposite him.
Director Mazhar Babu also said, 'I am making the film based on a different story. I don't want to say much about the story at the moment. However, the audience will get a film out of the ordinary. I have been associated with film production for 24 years. I am using that experience now.
The story of people who eat some 'thokkar' of the society will come up in this film. Saif Chandan also said, it can be said that I am doing a challenging character. What I am not doing in reality is what I am doing in this film. Producers and co-stars are also appreciating. Enjoying shooting. Looks like the audience will love it on screen too.
