Due to the transport strike, the groom has to walk to the bride's house without any means. After a long walk of 28 kilometers, they got married as usual.
Recently, such an incident happened in Odisha, India. The groom's house is in Sunakhandi panchayat of Kalyansinghpur block of Raigarh district of the country. On the other hand, the bride's house is in Diblapadu village of the same district. On the night of March 16, they reached Dibalapadu village on foot and tied the knot the next day (March 17).
Vehicle drivers went on a statewide strike in Odisha from March 15. Due to which it was not possible to arrange a car for the bridegroom. That's why the groom's family decided to reach the destination on foot.
In the video that went viral on social media, the groom and his family members are seen walking in the dark of night. There are some women among them. The marriage ceremony was completed on the morning of March 17. But then the groom and his family members stay at the bride's house. They were waiting for the cancellation of the strike by the drivers association.
