The Dhaka Times Desk The government has decided to sell milk, eggs and meat at cheap prices in the capital during Ramzan. The government has taken this decision thinking about the general public as the prices of goods have become unbridled due to various global reasons.
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock has taken the initiative to sell milk, eggs and meat at affordable prices in the capital. Beef will be sold at Tk 640 per kg, beef at Tk 940, dressed broiler at Tk 340, milk at Tk 80 per liter and eggs at Tk 10 each.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister SH Rezaul Karim will officially inaugurate this program tomorrow (March 23) at 3 pm at the premises of the Directorate of Livestock in the capital.
This initiative has been taken to stabilize the supply and price of meat, milk and eggs during the month of Ramadan, so that consumers can easily meet their animal meat and nutritional needs. The sale of these products will continue throughout the month of Ramadan at 20 places in the capital.
It has been informed that Abdul Gani Road, Khamarbari, Mohammadpur's Japan Garden City, Mirpur 60 Feet Road, Azimpur Matrisdan, Old Dhaka's Nayabazar, Arambagh, Mirpur's Kalshi, New Bazaar, Khilgaon Railgate, Nakhalpara's Lucas Mor, Segunbagicha Kachh Bazar, Mohammadpur's Basila, Uttarar's Diabari , Jatrabari, Gabtali, Karail Basti of Banani, Hazaribagh, Kamrangirchar and Rampura will continue this sale.
