The Dhaka Times Desk The 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of British American Tobacco (BAT) Bangladesh Company Limited was held.
The AGM was held virtually yesterday (March 29, 2023, Wednesday at 11:00 am) in the presence of a significant number of shareholders of the company from different regions of the country and abroad. BAT Bangladesh Chairman Golam Moin Uddin presided over it.
The shareholders unanimously agreed on five important decisions at the annual general meeting. Which includes approval of financial statements for 2022, election of board of directors, approval of cash dividend of Tk 20 per share (200%) (Tk 10 or 100 percent interim dividend), appointment of statutory auditors and appointment of corporate governance auditors.
The meeting was attended by Independent Director of the Company Mr. Aftab Ul Islam FCA, Non-Executive Director Stuart Kidd, Non-Executive Director Zakia Sultana, Independent Director KH Masood Siddiqui, Non-Executive Director Sirajun Noor Chowdhury, Non-Executive Director Abul Hossain, Managing Director Shehzad Munim, finance director Aman Mustafiz and company secretary.
