WordPress 6.2 Release: World's Top WP Developer in Bangladesh

The Dhaka Times Desk Recently WordPress released 6.2 Delphi version. In this version, Bangladesh's information technology company WP Developer took the second place as the world's top contributor.

WP Developer is ranked after the world famous WordPress company Automatic. Not only that, for this success, the position of Bangladesh is after the United States in the list of contributors to WordPress.

It is known that 65 contributors from Bangladesh participated in the WordPress 6.2 Delphi version release. Out of which 35 were employees of WP Developers. On the other hand, there were 88 people from Automatic which was in the first place. Moreover, many people from Tenup, Athlab, Yeast, Google, Assam Innovation, WP Engine companies also participated.

About 600 contributors from 65 countries participated in this version update. Out of which there were 91 people from USA, 65 people from Bangladesh, 49 people from India, 18 people from Germany and 14 people from UK.

Version 6.2 of WordPress is named "Dolphy" after American jazz alto saxophonist and flutist Eric Allan Dolphy Jr. It is the first of 3 editions planned for 2023. Prior to this, version 6.1 was released on November 2, 2022. However, due to some editor bugs and Gutenberg plug-in incompatibilities, the 6.1.1 update version came again on November 15.

This 6.2 Delphi version includes more than 900 changes and bug fixes, including changes to the visuals and editors of some blocks including image blocks, cover blocks, list blocks, column blocks.

It is to be noted that the founder of the company, Asif Rahman, CEO Nazmul Hasan Rupak and the tireless efforts of the staff of this team, Bangladesh's technology company WP Developer has been able to gain fame among the world's technology companies.
