SpaceX may launch its first Starship into space today

The Dhaka Times Desk SpaceX's first launch of a Starship into space could take place any time after 6pm Bangladesh time today (Monday).

As of Friday, SpaceX said it could conduct the much-anticipated test on Monday morning, with the launch scheduled for 7 a.m. local time. According to that time, it can be launched anytime after 6 pm Bangladesh time. But nothing can be said for sure.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has also given final approval to SpaceX to carry out the first launch test of Starship in space.

Last Friday afternoon, the issue of FFA's license to launch the next generation of rockets from South Texas of the United States of America was reported by the technical site Ars Technica.

"After an extensive license evaluation process, the FAA has confirmed that SpaceX has met all safety, policy, environmental, payload, airspace coordination and fiscal responsibility requirements." - The company said this in a statement.

Reaching this point has been a long road for SpaceX, according to a press release. The FAA also put the company's 'Boca Chica' facility through a comprehensive environmental assessment, along with technical hurdles.

According to media reports, the launch base, located very close to the Gulf of Mexico, is surrounded by wetlands. It is home to millions of shorebirds.

If everything goes well, maybe the world's largest rocket will be seen on the entire world TV screen.
