Indonesia was shaken by two earthquakes

This information was reported by the news agency Reuters citing the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

So far no damage has been reported due to the earthquake. Again no tsunami warning was issued there.

The magnitude of the earthquake first felt on the Richter scale was 6.1, the EMCC said. The second earthquake had a magnitude of 5.8. The origin of the first earthquake was 43 km below the surface. The origin of the second earthquake was 40 km below the surface.

It should be noted that earlier on April 14, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7 was felt in Java, Indonesia.
