The Dhaka Times Desk Popular Bangladeshi documentary filmmaker Fuad Chowdhury has started his first full-length film production. The shooting of this movie named 'Meghna Kanya' started in Barisal's Ulania island on January 16.
Produced by Kazi Saiful Islam and Anwar Azad, 'Meghna Kanya' is scripted by Fahmidur Rahman and Ahmed Khan.
Fuad Chowdhury has highlighted the difficult issue of personal conflict very eloquently. About the film, he said, 'I have come across many stories while working on documentaries, which are not possible to tell without a full-length film. 'Meghna Kanya' is one such story. While presenting a difficult subject like women trafficking to the audience, this story set in a rural backdrop has enough entertainment for the audience.'
Meanwhile he has also produced several important docu-fictions. Which have been appreciated and awarded at home and abroad.
