About this child, Boston Children's Hospital radiologist Darren Orbach said, the child was at risk of being born with severe brain injuries. Also, the baby could have developed a complex heart attack soon after birth. So the brain surgery of the child is done before birth.
Doctors said that the baby was growing abnormally in the womb. By doing an ultrasonogram, the doctors confirmed that the baby had a problem with the blood vessels. The baby was operated on at 34 weeks gestation.
