The price of a mango is 24 thousand taka!

The Dhaka Times Desk Now the price of a mango has increased to 230 dollars. Which is more than 24 thousand rupees in Bangladeshi currency! A man in Japan is selling his grown mangoes at this price. Those mangoes are being sold in large quantities.

According to a report in Gulf News, the name of the farmer who sold the mangoes is Hiroyuki Nakagawa. He is currently 62 years old. He named the mango 'sun in the snow'.

Hiroyuki Nakagawa's home is on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. He has been cultivating that mango there since 2011, but he is using a strange technique!

That technique has to go back a bit. Hiroyuki Nakagawa did not go into mango farming then, he was into fuel oil business. However, due to the increase in oil prices, he was also thinking of entering another profession. At that time, he met a mango farmer in Miyazaki region. The person claims that this mango can be grown even in winter. Hiroyuki Nakagawa started mango cultivation under his guidance.

Hiroyuki Nakagawa is using two natural resources of Hokkaido Island to grow mangoes. One is snow and the other is hot water. Hiroyuki Nakagawa uses snow stored in winter to cool greenhouses in summer. This natural hot water is used to heat the greenhouse in winter. In this way, Hiroyuki Nakagawa produces about 5 thousand mangoes every season.

This is Hiroyuki Nakagawa's method of ripening mangoes in winter. There is no insect infestation during this time. So there is no need for pesticides. Hirouki Nakagawa Due to the low humidity of the air, the mangoes do not even get stained. Due to which no chemicals are required. Hiroyuki Nakagawa said, 'In Hokkaido, I wanted to go outside and do something natural.'
