According to a report by NDTV, the Sunshine Coast 'Snake Catchers 247' organization posted this incident on Facebook. The company also posted a photo of a black and yellow snake sleeping peacefully in a drawer.
They captioned the photo, 'Snake sleeping in the bar manager's desk drawer. A local venue manager was sitting at a desk working all day. At break he opened his drawer and was quite frightened when he saw a whole snake lying inside!'
They shared a video of catching the snake. In the video, snake-catching guards can be seen entering the scene with their tools. After opening the drawer, the snake is seen curled up in a corner. Surprisingly, this snake is no ordinary snake but a carpet python.
Later, the snake was packed in a blue bag and released in the forest. The post from 'Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers' has received over 29,000 views and many likes since it was shared.
A Facebook user wrote in the comment that, 'I also found a snake strangely, do you know where? In one of my shoes! But that little carpet python was very quiet.' Another wrote in response that, 'now even the snakes are going to work wearing shoes! Wow nice!'
Another person commented, 'I went and locked my desk drawer first, you all really scared me dad!'
