The Dhaka Times Desk Actress Rafiat Rashid Mithila spent most of her time in Kolkata after marrying the popular director of Opar Bengal Srijit Mukherjee. There she lives with her husband and children.
But recently rumors of Mithila's breakup with Srijit spread. A news outlet in Kolkata claimed that the couple is going to separate. But Mithila ignored this news. Rather, he said that he is busy with work. Now it is known that Mithila is joining a new Tollywood movie called 'O Abhagi'. This film will be produced by director Anirban Chakraborty.
This movie is going to be made based on the timeless story 'Abhagir Swarg' by legendary fiction writer Saratchandra Chattopadhyay. However, the makers are making some changes in the story. Mithila will play the lead role in the movie. Apart from this, Sion Ghosh, Subrata Dutta, Devyani Chatterjee and many others will be seen in different roles.
Producer Anirban Chakraborty said, Mithila will be seen in two ages in 'O Abhaagi'. One will show a 16-year-old girl, the other a woman in her 30s. The director also said that both ages suit him well.
Mithila has already revealed a look as well. Where she is seen in plain saree looking sad. About joining the movie, Mithila said, I like the story very much. I also liked its adaptation. That's why I agreed.
The shooting of the movie 'O Abhagi' will start soon. Tolkata's Lagnajita, Rupankar Bagchi, Chandrani Banerjee and Animesh Roy of Bangladesh will sing in it.
