The Dhaka Times Desk Metlife Bangladesh has recently signed an agreement with Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited through which employees of Arla Foods Bangladesh will get Metlife insurance benefits.
Arla Foods is the Bangladeshi subsidiary of European dairy cooperative Arla Foods. The agreement was signed at the head office of Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited. As part of this agreement, around 1,500 employees of Arla Foods will get financial protection in case of medical, accident and loss of life.
Arla Foods Bangladesh has selected Metlife to provide insurance services to its employees due to Metlife's customized solutions, online insurance settlement services, fast payment of insurance claims and financial capability.
Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited is working in Bangladesh since 2014. The company has its factory at Konabari, Gazipur with FSSC 22000 (V5.1) accredited packaging facility. The company currently has two products in its portfolio namely Dano Power and Dano Daily Nutrition. Through which Arla Foods Bangladesh is playing a role in meeting the dairy nutritional needs of millions of people every month across the country.
On the other hand, Metlife has been providing insurance protection to more than 270,000 workers and their dependent family members of more than 800 organizations in Bangladesh.
