New app Thread will rival Twitter

The Dhaka Times Desk Instagram has been trying to build a social media platform to rival Twitter for a long time. Finally, Instagram has also announced the launch of the app. The new platform called Thread was launched on July 6.

The app is open for pre-order on Playstore. Anyone can pre-order if they want. The question is, what benefits can be found in this new app? Why use or?

The name is quite predictable. This new platform is designed to increase text-based communication. Basically maximum 280 word thread can be given. Of course there will also be a limitation on alphanumerics on the platform. This platform is decentralized.
