The Dhaka Times Desk Guinness World Records holder Salustiano Sanchez, the world's oldest man, has died at the age of 112.
The elderly man died last Friday at a nursing home in Grand Island, New York.
According to the media, Salustiano was born on June 8, 1901 in a village in Spain. He went to Cuba at the age of 17. He used to work as a laborer to harvest sugarcane there. He migrated to the United States in 1920. He worked in coal mines in Kentucky. Later went to New York from there.
Notably, after the death of Sallustian, the oldest man in the world is 111-year-old Arturo Licata of Italy. On the other hand, the world's oldest woman is 115-year-old Misao Okaa of Japan. Source: Online
