The Dhaka Times Desk The results of SSC and equivalent exams will be declared today Friday (July 28). Education Minister Dipu Moni will present the details of the results through a press conference at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium in Segunbagicha of the capital at 11:00 am. Earlier in the morning, the chairmen of 11 education boards will present the summary of results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
A press release sent by the public relations wing of the Ministry of Education informed that the results will be published on the websites of the respective educational institutions and the respective boards at 10:30 am. Students can know the result even sitting at home. Also you can know the result by SMS.
SSC exam started from last 30 April. Two examinations of 4 education boards were postponed due to cyclone Mokha. These tests are conducted after the regular examination.
The General Education Board theory exam will continue till May 23 and the practical exam will start from May 24 and end on May 30. Madrasa Education Board theory exam will be conducted till May 25 and practical exam will start from May 27 and end on June 3. Technical Education Board theory exam will continue till May 23 and practical exam will start from May 25 and end on June 4.
A total of 20 lakh 72 thousand 163 people participated in this year's examination. Out of which 10 lakh 21 thousand 197 students and 10 lakh 50 thousand 966 female students. Students of 29 thousand 798 institutions under 11 education boards took part in this year's examination in a total of 3 thousand 810 centers.
Compared to 2022, the number of examinees in 2023 has increased by 50 thousand 295 people. Out of this, 38 thousand 609 students have increased. In addition, the total number of institutions increased by 207 and the number of centers increased by 20.
SSC Result with Roll Number
Candidates can know the result of SSC and equivalent in three ways. A set will be sent to the concerned educational institution immediately after the declaration of the result. Students can collect the results from there. Students can also download the result sheet by entering the Dhaka Education Board website educationboardresults.gov.bd with roll and registration number.
Apart from this, you can also know the result through SMS. In that case, go to the message option of the mobile phone and write SSC and write the first three letters of the board in English with a space, then give the roll number with a space. Then write exam year again with space and send to 16222 (Example-SSC DHA ROLL YEAR). The result will be known in the return message.
To get the educational institution wise result sheet one has to enter the website of the board. Then click on the result corner and enter the EIIN of the educational institution. Then the result sheet of that educational institution can also be downloaded.

How to prevent dengue
Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way. This viral fever can occur alone or in combination with other viruses (chikungunya, yellow fever, Burma forest, flu, respiratory syncytial) and bacteria (pneumococcus).
Dengue fever is divided into two categories depending on the severity of symptoms and fever.
1. Common dengue fever
2. Dengue fever with bleeding.
In the case of common dengue fever, the following symptoms are mainly seen-
1. Sudden high fever lasting 2 to 7 days.
2. Severe headache.
3. Pain behind the eyes.
4. Along with the fever, red rash appears all over the body.
5. Severe pain in whole body as well as back pain.
6. Nausea or vomiting.
7. A rash or red bumps on the skin.
In case of dengue fever with bleeding:
1. Bleeding from nose, mouth or vomiting with high fever within 2 to 48 hours.
2. Fluid accumulation in chest or abdomen along with fever.
If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.
On the other hand
Wait at home for the first 3 days of fever. On the other hand, sponge the whole body with water every now and then. This will reduce the level of fever. Drink enough water and rest. After that, if the fever does not decrease or if it continues to increase after some time, consult a doctor immediately.
Things to do to prevent Dengue:
1. Try to keep the surroundings of the house as clean as possible.
2. If there are flower tubs or broken plastic bottles, can shells, tires or polythene inside the house, clean them quickly and drain the accumulated water from the flower tubs.
3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.
4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.
5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.
6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.
7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.
