The Dhaka Times Desk India, one of the most powerful countries in South Asia, suddenly came up in the discussion. The English name of which is 'India'. The name of the country is India or India? In fact, which will be there, or will there be both? Although the country's constitution currently has both the names India and Bharat.
There have been rumors since long that the current ruling BJP government of the country wants to drop the name 'India'. However, suddenly the country's name was mentioned only as India in the invitation letter of the world leaders participating in the G-20 summit, and the issue has come to the center of discussion anew.
On September 5, Times Now reported that the ruling Narendra Modi government may bring a resolution on changing the country's name in the special session of the country's parliament from September 18 to 22. In that resolution, the name of the country can be officially changed only to India.
The speculation started after the invitation letter of President Draupadi Murmu's dinner to the foreign heads of state participating in the G20 Summit was made public last Tuesday. The Modi government is going to change the country's name to just 'Bharat' before the Lok Sabha polls. Speculations have been fueled that a special session of Parliament has been called on December 18-22 to pass the constitutional amendment bill in this regard.
Times Now reported that the officials of the host country sent invitations to attend the dinner for world leaders participating in the G-20 summit. In that invitation, it is mentioned that the dinner was organized on behalf of the 'President of India'. Earlier such invitations were written 'President of India'.
BJP leader Sambit Patra on Tuesday released an official document on his X handle (Twitter) announcing Prime Minister Modi's upcoming visit to Indonesia. Modi's post is written there, 'Prime Minister of India'. However, according to official practice his title was written as 'Prime Minister of India'.
In this regard, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh wrote on the social media X (Twitter), 'Officially the matter of changing the name of India is coming true. Invitation letters were sent from Rashtrapati Bhavan to the invited guests for the September 9 dinner, in which the words President of India were written instead of President of India. According to article number one of the country's constitution, 'India, which is India, is a union of states.' Through this, the rulers are dishonoring the Union of States.'
However, the ruling BJP leaders are in favor of changing the official name of the country. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma argued for changing the country's name to just 'Bharat' on 5 September. In a post on X, he wrote, 'Republic of India, I am happy and proud to know that our people are marching bravely towards immortality.'
Union government minister Rajiv Chandra Shekhar said, 'Our country's name is India, there is no doubt about it. Congress sees problems in everything.'
Rajiv Shekhar, head of India's main Hindutva organization RSS, also said that 'India is the name of this country since time immemorial. We have to go in that direction. Whatever the language, the name remains the same.'
BJP legislator Naresh Bansal also spoke about the name change in the upper house of the Parliament of India recently. Highlighting the proposal to change the name in the session, he said, 'The name India is a symbol of colonial slavery. This name should be deleted from the constitution.'
Article 1 of the Constitution reads, 'India, i.e. Bharat, the Union of States'. That is, 'India' and 'Bharat', both names have the constitutional seal. A two-judge bench in Modi's 2016 judgment dismissed a plea to scrap the name 'India', saying "such a plea is meaningless."
What will happen to Modi's 'Make in India' if the name of the country changes? 'Digital India' slogan will also change?
When the second phase of 'Bharat Joro Yatra' begins next November, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will not have to face any name-dropping controversy. But if in the end the constitution is really amended and 'India' is removed and only the name Bharat is recognized, what will be the future of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' project? Modi government has to change the name of many things.

How to prevent dengue
Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way. This viral fever can occur alone or in combination with other viruses (chikungunya, yellow fever, Burma forest, flu, respiratory syncytial) and bacteria (pneumococcus).
Dengue fever is divided into two categories depending on the severity of symptoms and fever.
1. Common dengue fever
2. Dengue fever with bleeding.
In the case of common dengue fever, the following symptoms are mainly seen-
1. Sudden high fever lasting 2 to 7 days.
2. Severe headache.
3. Pain behind the eyes.
4. Along with the fever, red rash appears all over the body.
5. Severe pain in whole body as well as back pain.
6. Nausea or vomiting.
7. A rash or red bumps on the skin.
In case of dengue fever with bleeding:
1. Bleeding from nose, mouth or vomiting with high fever within 2 to 48 hours.
2. Fluid accumulation in chest or abdomen along with fever.
If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.
On the other hand
Wait at home for the first 3 days of fever. On the other hand, sponge the whole body with water every now and then. This will reduce the level of fever. Drink enough water and rest. After that, if the fever does not decrease or if it continues to increase after some time, consult a doctor immediately.
Things to do to prevent Dengue:
1. Try to keep the surroundings of the house as clean as possible.
2. If there are flower tubs or broken plastic bottles, can shells, tires or polythene inside the house, clean them quickly and drain the accumulated water from the flower tubs.
3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.
4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.
5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.
6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.
7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.
8. Since Aedes mosquitoes bite during the day, it is important to avoid sleeping with mosquito nets while sleeping during the day. Source: https://dmpnews.org
