Holy Eid-e Miladunnabi (PBUH) today

Miladunnabi is being celebrated on the holy Eid with passion and excitement.

The Dhaka Times Desk Miladunnabi is being celebrated with due religious solemnity today (Thursday) on the holy Eid, which is filled with passion and excitement by Muslims all over the world. Today is a public holiday.

পবিত্র ঈদ-ই মিলাদুন্নবী (সা:) আজ 1

Today is 12th Rabiul Awal. On this day, the great Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came to this world. In whose light this world was illuminated. Without whose arrival this world tour would not have been created. The Bengali nation like other Muslims of the world is duly celebrating the birthday of the great man for whom the great creator created this world. Zikir, Quran Khani and Islamic discussions are organized throughout the day. The day started with prayers in the mosque at Fajr.

About 14 hundred and a half years ago, on this day in 570 AD, he came to this world in the arms of his mother Amena, the noble Quraish clan of Makkah city during the 12th of Rabiul Awal Subhe Sadek. He lost his father before birth and was deprived of his mother's love shortly after birth. This great person grew up under the shelter of his uncle Abu Talib through many hardships and infinite adversities. After attaining the age of 40, he received the great responsibility of Prophethood from the Great Lord. To give the news of truth to the uncivilized barbarians and the wayward human race, he presented to them the great words of Tawheed of the Great Rabbul Alamin.

But it is a matter of great regret that the barbaric Arab nation did not accept his invitation and started torturing the Prophet (PBUH). Various plots and conspiracies started one after another. With genuine trust in the help of Almighty God, he continued to struggle to establish peace in the world by risking his life. At one time, slowly truth-seeking people began to be his companions. On the other hand, the conspiracy of the infidels also began to take shape. At one point they even planned to kill the Prophet (PBUH). In such a situation, the Prophet (PBUH) left his native land and migrated to Medina. In Madinah he established the Islamic state and implemented the laws of Allah and formulated a written constitution called the Sanad of Madinah. This Medina charter is known as the first written constitution of the world. In this constitution, the rights of all including Jews, Christians, Muslims are recognized in parallel. It is a role model for the world.

After 23 years of hard work, Rasulullah (PBUH) finally won the struggle to establish religion. It achieved its fulfillment through the conquest of Mecca. In the farewell Hajj speech, he heard the words of Allah to mankind: 'From this day, your religion and life system have been perfected for you. Only Islam has been chosen for you as a religion and a way of life.'

President Mohammad Sahabuddin, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages on the occasion of Miladunnabi (PBUH) on the holy Eid.

Various religious, social and cultural organizations are conducting various programs on the occasion of Miladunnabi (PBUH) on the holy Eid. Various events including discussions, symposiums, seminars and prayer meetings have been organized on the Seerat of Rasool (PBUH). Highlighting the significance of the day, various private TV channels including Bangladesh Radio and Television are airing special programs.

How to prevent dengue

Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way. This viral fever can occur alone or in combination with other viruses (chikungunya, yellow fever, Burma forest, flu, respiratory syncytial) and bacteria (pneumococcus).

Dengue fever is divided into two categories depending on the severity of symptoms and fever.

1. Common dengue fever

2. Dengue fever with bleeding.

In the case of common dengue fever, the following symptoms are mainly seen-

1. Sudden high fever lasting 2 to 7 days.

2. Severe headache.

3. Pain behind the eyes.

4. Along with the fever, red rash appears all over the body.

5. Severe pain in whole body as well as back pain.

6. Nausea or vomiting.

7. A rash or red bumps on the skin.

In case of dengue fever with bleeding:

1. Bleeding from nose, mouth or vomiting with high fever within 2 to 48 hours.

2. Fluid accumulation in chest or abdomen along with fever.

If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.

On the other hand

Wait at home for the first 3 days of fever. On the other hand, sponge the whole body with water every now and then. This will reduce the level of fever. Drink enough water and rest. After that, if the fever does not decrease or if it continues to increase after some time, consult a doctor immediately.

Things to do to prevent Dengue:

1. Try to keep the surroundings of the house as clean as possible.

2. If there are flower tubs or broken plastic bottles, can shells, tires or polythene inside the house, clean them quickly and drain the accumulated water from the flower tubs.

3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.

4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.

5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.

6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.

7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.

8. Since Aedes mosquitoes bite during the day, it is important to avoid sleeping with mosquito nets while sleeping during the day. Source: https://dmpnews.org
