Gazans are refugees in their own land! This land was once owned by Muslims - what does history actually say?

M. H. Sohail Muslims are being brutally attacked in Gaza. The West blames Hamas. But the real culprit is Israel. Today, Gazans are living as refugees in their own land! It is a cruel irony of fate. But this land once belonged to Muslims.

Common people including women and children are living an inhumane life today under siege in Gaza. All these people are constantly giving their lives to Israel's bombardment. But the whole world is silently watching these terrorist activities of the Jewish state of Israel. But these states talk about human rights. These states brag about themselves. Where is humanity today? Where? Stopping food, water, electricity and bombarding common people indiscriminately. But the countries of the world are watching the joke from the side of the Israeli terrorists! Shame on those countries who pretend to talk about human rights.

In the early days of Islam, Muslims also had their Qabalah in Jerusalem, namely the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Later, by the command of Allah, the Qibla was changed towards Mecca. Three mosques in the world are virtuous for Muslims. The first is Makkah Sharif, the second is Masjid al-Nababi and the third is Al-Aqsa. There are special rewards for praying in these three mosques. Apart from these three mosques in the world, the same reward is obtained if the prayers are offered. But this mosque is also surrounded by the Israeli army and does not allow prayers.

Who is Hamas?

Hamas, the armed jihadist group occupying Gaza, is the most powerful armed group. Hamas is primarily a Sunni militant group. At one time their supporters were the Ikhwan of Egypt. Later separated from the Ikhwan or Brotherhood for ideological reasons. Then there is the pro-Iranian Hezbollah group based in Lebanon.

Now Hamas is fighting alone. From the Gaza Strip under their control. They are supported by Afghanistan, Iran, Qatar and indirectly Türkiye. In opposition were Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Emirates of Egypt and Jordan. However, after the start of this war, Saudi Arabia has come a long way. But this fight of Hamas is not at all religious or only about Al Aqsa Mosque. The issue is purely political. This fight is going on for the right of a separate independent state in Palestine.

America at one point accepted an independent Palestine or Two states theory, but Israel withdrew from it in the face of lobbying and pressure. Now Israel considers itself so powerful that it cares little about America. Because now no one can be president or senator of America without Jewish money! So everyone is like their slave. So there is no possibility of liberation of Jerusalem or Al Aqsa Mosque until the political solution of the problem.

If the state of Palestine is established, the West Bank Jerusalem will automatically come under the control of the Muslims. However, the current Israeli government does not comply with any of this. The reason is that they believe in the principle of 'Zor Jaar Muluk Tar'. They entered Jerusalem whenever they pleased. Al-Aqsa surrounds the mosque. Even killing the Philistines like birds. In one word, that 'barbaric terrorist' state called Israel has established its own 'Ram Rajtva'.

To talk about the history of Palestine, many words have to be said. The Jews once came to this country (Palestine) as refugees. Muslims stood by them. Because Islam says to stand by the helpless regardless of caste and religion. And the followers of Islam give importance to that matter. That was also done at that time. Despite being a Muslim-dominated state, it helped the Jews at the time. But they dominate the whole land!

What does history really say?

After the exile in 1936 after the uprising, the Jews had no power in Palestine; They had no significant presence. Basically the Christians are everywhere.

For a few years between 603 and 625 AH, during the reign of King Khosrow of Iran, Iranian Persian idolaters occupied Palestine. The area was regained by the Romans under the leadership of King Heraclius.

Finally, in 637 Hijri, the Muslims under the leadership of Amr Ibnul As conquered Palestine. Palestine remained under Muslim rulers until the 11th century. After the European Christian Crusaders captured it in 1099, Sultan Salah al-Din Ayyubid recaptured all of Palestine, including Jerusalem, in 1187.

Then in 1229, the Christian King Frederick with only 500 soldiers captured some cities in Palestine including Jerusalem on the basis of a treaty with the Muslim King Alkamel. They maintained that possession for only 10 years. After 10 years, King Nasser Dawood of Jordan recaptured the cities in 1239/40 with the Khawarites. In 1243, due to the assassination of King Saleh Ismail of Damascus, several cities, including Jerusalem, were once again under Christian control. After that Najmuddin Ayyub with the help of Khawarazim brought the cities back to the Muslims after only one year. The country remained in Muslim hands until the British captured Palestine from the Ottoman Caliphate in 1917.

A few things are particularly noteworthy in the history we have given back:

# The Jews were not the original inhabitants of Palestine; They are newcomers to this area from the beginning. The original inhabitants were the Canaanites. The current inhabitants of Palestine (whether Muslim or Christian) are of Canaanite descent. Outside of this there is a small section of Muslim Muhajirs and a small number of Christian Muhajirs.

# Dawood and Sulaiman a. At no other time than during his brief reign did the Jews enjoy a fully independent state in Palestine. Only a short period of autonomy was granted, centered on Jerusalem.

# Full Palestine was never inhabited by them. Their settlement was in a very small area.

# The Jews were always involved in lawlessness and intrigues of various kinds while living in Palestine. It has also been repeatedly evicted from outside forces. At one stage, their way to Palestine was completely blocked and for almost 2 thousand years they were expelled from Palestine and scattered in different parts of the world, abandoning the hope of this area. Palestine also forgets them. Except for a small number of Christian and Muslim immigrants, the original inhabitants continue to live here. And they accepted Islam.

# Thus, the historical claim of the Jews to the land of Palestine is nothing but a ridiculous statement.

The founding of the planned Jewish state and the arrival of Jews in Palestine

By taking control of Palestine, establishing their control over the Swiss Straits, Red Sea, areas, thwarting the independence movement of the occupied Arab states, including Egypt. To further his imperialist interests, to secure the east-west communication route. And to punish the Arabs through the Jews. The most important thing is that the British Empire planned to build a Jewish colony in independent Palestine with the help of Russia, Europe and America to realize many objectives, including the safe evacuation of the Jews to another country and the liberation of Europe from their inaction and conspiracy.

On the other hand, the Jews had a longing for Palestine. After the Zionist movement started it gained more momentum.

All these, Jews started coming to Palestine in groups under the umbrella of Europe and Britain a long time ago. However, they started coming significantly between 1882 and 1903. During this time 28 thousand Jews came to Palestine. Within this 20 year period they managed to build at least 22 settlements. Then in the period from 1904 to 1914, their number reached more than 40 thousand. During this time they built 59 settlements.

In 1914, during the First World War, Herbert Samuel, a Jewish official of the British government, appealed to the British Foreign Office to establish a Jewish state in Palestine with the help of Britain and America. At the end of 1916, a letter was sent to the British government requesting the formation of the state of Israel on behalf of the Zionist Organization. In the wake of which Arthur Balfour made his famous declaration of Britain's consent to the creation of a Jewish state.

Since then, the number of emigrants has been increasing day by day. 55 thousand during the First World War, 18 thousand in 1925, 3 lakh in 1935, 6 and a half lakh in 1948.

Then on November 29, 1947, the United Nations brutally divided the then Palestinian land between the Jews and the Palestinians, giving birth to an admittedly Jewish boil in the Middle East. In it, they allocated 78 percent of the land from full Palestine to the Jews and 22 percent of the land to the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

Since 1917, Palestine was under British mandate. On May 14, 1948, the British government gave up the Mandate of Palestine. Jewish leaders also announced a sovereign Jewish state the day before the Mandate was relinquished. At that time their population was 8,06000. From then on the Jews became more violent than before. They did not accept the share given by the then Jati Sangha. Zoar also seized large amounts of land from the ancient Palestinians and built settlements there. For that reason, between 1948 and 1953, 370 new settlements were built, and between 1948 and 1967, more than four hundred Palestinian villages were evicted and converted into Jewish settlements. Since then, Jews have been found and gathered in Israel from different parts of the world. According to an estimate of 2015, the total population of Israel excluding the occupied territories of Gaza and the West Bank is 83,45,000. Among them, 62,51000 (74.9 percent) and 17,30000 (about 20.7 percent) Arabs are the rest.
