Dhaka Times Report. People get a lot of things. But finding this child named Maisha in the capital is another find. After the robbery, the little child was taken as a hostage by the robbers in the hope of more money. But the robbers got into a lot of trouble with this little child. Forced to take the initiative to return him. The little baby Maisha finally returned to her mother's arms through the police station.
'The treasure of my chest has returned to my chest. I am filled with relief and joy. There is nothing in the world as happy as having a child back.' Mother Khaleda Begum said these words while cradling her eight-month-old baby Mobashvira Alam Mayesha in her arms after 15 hours. Father Shah Alam and mother Khaleda Begum were overcome with emotion at Khilgaon Police Station after getting their child back on April 22 afternoon. Taking refuge in the mother's breast, the child also began to express his joy by waving his arms and legs. On Saturday, April 21 at 8 pm, a group of robbers robbed a house in Khilgaon of the capital and kidnapped the child for ransom. On Sunday, April 22, around 12:30 noon, the police rescued the child from Mirpur's South Paikpara. None of the robbers could be arrested. Motijheel Division Police Deputy Commissioner Anwar Hossain said that our main goal was to rescue the child alive and well. The abductors left the child on the road in South Paikpara. He was rescued from there. The culprits have been identified. He is hopeful that it will be possible to arrest them very soon.
How the child is found
Sirajul Islam Sheikh, OC of Khilgaon Police Station, said that the abductors left the child Mayesha on the road next to the house number 276/A/1 of Mirpur Dakshin Paikpara. A towel, feeder and a white blanket are placed next to him. 'Please deliver the child to Khilgaon police station' was written in black marker on the ganji. The child's father's mobile number was also written in that genji. Fazila Khatun, the housekeeper of the ground floor mess of that house, rescued the child Maisha from the street. Later local people informed the police. At around 12:30 PM, the police reached the spot and brought the child Maisha and the domestic worker Fazila to the Khilgaon police station. Fazila told reporters at Khatun police station that she went to cook in the ground floor mess of house No. 276/A/1 around 12 noon. After entering the house, he hears the baby crying outside. At that time, one of the mess said to Fazila, come to see a child crying outside. Fazila goes outside and sees the child crying on the street near the gate of the house. Towels, feeders and a white genji were lying beside him. He took the child in his arms and told the local people about it. Azaharul Islam, a resident of the fourth floor of house number 276/2, said, first call the Mirpur police station and inform about the child. Then the matter was informed by calling the mobile number written in Genji. Fazila Khatun took the child to Siddiqur Rahman on the third floor of Building No. 276/2. Siddiqur Rahman told reporters that he had already learned about robbery and child abduction in Khilgaon after reading the newspaper in the morning. I thought that this child might be the victim of that incident. Fazila was afraid of the child. He was told that the police and the child's father have been informed. Khilgaon Thana OC Sirajul Islam Sheikh said that the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police and Khilgaon Thana Police rescued the child from there after receiving the information. From there he was taken to the detective police office at Minto Road. Mayesha was brought to the police station at 1:40 p.m. At this time, people gathered to see the child. Fazila Khatun was taken to the police station for questioning. He was questioned and released.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Anwar Hossain handed over Mayesha to her mother and father around 2 pm. At this time, the crowd present at the police station clapped their hands in joy. Mayesha's mother Khaleda Begum was overcome with emotion. He hugged the child to his chest and began to caress. He told reporters, "I got back the treasure of my chest." I can't explain the joy. Baba Shah Alam expressed his gratitude to the police and journalists and said that the police and detective police continued their operation after the incident. Journalists also publish news on television and newspapers. Till writing this report at night, no case has been filed in the police station.
When asked whether anyone involved in the incident has been identified, Deputy Commissioner Anwar Hossain said that it has been identified. 5-6 criminals are involved in the incident. But not much can be said before the arrest. When asked about the case, he said that if the child's family does not file a case, the police will file a robbery and kidnapping case as the plaintiff.
Md. Shah Alam, officer of Agrani Bank's Shyamoli branch, lives on the fourth floor of house number 227 of C Block, Khilgaon. His sister's family also lives in that house. Shah Alam's elder sister Shamsunnahar said, when it was raining outside around eight o'clock in the night, the door was opened after hearing a knock on the door from outside. 5-6 unidentified people entered and said they were chased by the police. They want some shelter. Shah Alam was not at home at that time. After that, they held the whole family hostage at gunpoint and tied their hands and feet. Opened cupboards and wardrobes and looted 20 pieces of gold ornaments and one and a half lakh taka and two mobile phones. Then they quickly left with the baby Maisha. By giving two mobile phone numbers, it is said that the child will be returned if Tk 20 lakh is paid by contacting these numbers.
