The British Council and the Directorate of Youth Development will work together to empower the youth of the country

The Dhaka Times Desk An agreement (Letter of Intent – LOI) has recently been signed between the British Council and the Department of Youth Development.

The agreement was signed at Jubo Bhavan located in Motijheel commercial area of capital Dhaka. Director General (Grade 1) of Youth Development Department in this partnership. Gazi Md. The British Council will effectively participate in the Directorate's 'Next Generation Bangladesh' research initiative in identifying in detail the challenges, expectations and potential of young Bangladeshis. This research will ensure evidence-based practice and policy in youth development.

Through these initiatives, the British Council will support the capacity building of the Directorate of Youth Development, which will ensure sustainable transformation of the Directorate moving forward.
