Financial Literacy Day is celebrated by United Commercial Bank

The Dhaka Times Desk United Commercial Bank Plc has observed Financial Literacy Day-2024 based on the motto 'Whoever has financial literacy, knows the proper management of earned money, financial literacy is a prerequisite for economic development'. Bank's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Arif Qadri inaugurated the Financial Literacy Day program at the bank's head office.

In a discussion meeting on the occasion of Financial Literacy Day, the managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, Arif Qadri, said that financial inclusion means reaching modern banking services within the reach of ordinary people who are deprived of financial services. Under the guidance and strong leadership of Bangladesh Bank, United Commercial Bank Plc has been carrying out financial inclusion activities. These include bank accounts starting from Tk 10 to Tk 100 such as school banking accounts, street children and working people bank accounts, providing mobile banking and agent banking services. Financial inclusion is not only about receiving or sending money, bringing the low-income people of the society under the modern banking services and making them interested in savings, encouraging digital transactions, micro-loans and other banking services. In this regard, he called upon all the employees of the bank to play a sincere role.

Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way.
