The Dhaka Times Desk Swedish music streaming company Spotify is set to launch a full-length music video feature in a limited beta launch for Premium subscribers.
The company is taking a new initiative in a sector where YouTube has dominated for at least two decades. Music videos will soon be rolling out in beta to premium users in the UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Brazil, Sweden, Colombia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Kenya, Spotify said.
Also, Reuters reports that the company sees it as an effort to increase users.
According to the news, the company aims to achieve one billion users of MyFlock by 2030. However, the big obstacle in their plan is 'Apple Music' and Alphabet's 'YouTube Music'. Users watch music videos for free on these platforms.
It is known that this feature of Spotify will have a limited list of some music videos. Whereas, the report also mentions that the music videos of local British artists like Aluna will be included along with hit songs from globally popular artists like British singer Ed Sheeran.
It is known that in March last year, Spotify launched a feature called 'Clips'. These are videos under 30 seconds in length that are uploaded directly to Spotify for artists. According to a report, Spotify Music Video is currently available on Android, iOS, desktop and smart TV apps as well.
It is known that the Switch to Video tab can also be seen next to each music in the Spotify app. Click here to see the music video.
This video can be viewed in different ways besides full screen, landscape mode. By clicking on Switch to Audio option written next to the video, you can stop the video and listen to the music.
Also, the company has come up with various offerings including podcasts and audiobooks to draw more users to the platform, the report said.
The company predicted in February that their premium subscribers would reach 23.9 million in this quarter. This is higher than the company's estimate of Rs 23.83 crore.

How to prevent dengue
Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way. This viral fever can occur alone or in combination with other viruses (chikungunya, yellow fever, Burma forest, flu, respiratory syncytial) and bacteria (pneumococcus).

6. Nausea or vomiting.
7. A rash or red bumps on the skin.
In case of dengue fever with bleeding:
1. Bleeding from nose, mouth or vomiting with high fever within 2 to 48 hours.
2. Fluid accumulation in chest or abdomen along with fever.
If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.
On the other hand
Wait at home for the first 3 days of fever. On the other hand, sponge the whole body with water every now and then. This will reduce the level of fever. Drink enough water and rest. After that, if the fever does not decrease or if it continues to increase after some time, consult a doctor immediately.
Things to do to prevent Dengue:
1. Try to keep the surroundings of the house as clean as possible.
2. If there are flower tubs or broken plastic bottles, can shells, tires or polythene inside the house, clean them quickly and drain the accumulated water from the flower tubs.
3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.
4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.
5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.
6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.
7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.
