Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told reporters at the Secretariat on April 29, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be given a copy of the result at 10 am on May 7 and the result will be officially announced through a press conference at the Ministry of Education at 1 pm. The education minister told reporters that the students will be able to collect the results after that.
It is known that 14 lakh 20 thousand 57 students participated in the SSC and equivalent examinations under eight General Education Boards, Dakhil and Technical Boards. Among them 7 lakh 35 thousand 229 male students and 6 lakh 84 thousand 818 female students.
It is reported that out of 10 lakh 52 thousand 969 students in SSC, 5 lakh 32 thousand 818 are female students and 5 lakh 20 thousand 115 male students. This is the first time that the number of female students is 12 thousand 667 more than male students in SSC.
This time in SSC, Bengali 2nd paper, English 1st and 2nd paper and creative questions in all subjects except mathematics.
It should be noted that the SSC and equivalent exams started on February 1. As per the earlier announcement, the result is published within 60 days of the completion of the examination.
