The Dhaka Times Desk Left-handed batsman Tamim Iqbal told the press conference that he is satisfied with his innings even if he did not get a century. But Kinchit expressed his annoyance at the repeated century question of the reporters.

It's been three and a half years since we celebrated a century by jumping to zero and throwing our hands, taking off our helmets and raising our bats. Although he reached half-century twice in the Dhaka Test, he could not reach three figures. At the end of the day's play, he came to the press conference as the representative of the team and answered the question about the 'century' again in an aggressive mood. Tamim scored 70 runs from 218 balls with a strike rate of 32.11. Speaking about this, Tamim said, "I have not set any goals for today's innings." This innings was for the team. I had no goals of my own. I will do 100, not something like 80. A bit disappointed. Should have done 100. But it didn't."
On the question of the century, Tamim Soja said, "So many questions are being raised about it, but because of this, I am suffering. You should also understand this a little. A question should not be asked so many times. Everything has a limit. A question is seen every day—the century is not happening. Who doesn't want to score a century? You have to understand that cricket is a mental game. It is creating a kind of extra pressure on me. I request you not to ask such questions again.”
Tamim said again, "Every day the same question is seen, why is there no century?" A question should not be asked so many times, there is a limit to everything."
Tamim also said, "Definitely difficult, in response to the demands of the situation and playing against nature." I love to play strokes. At one point the offspinners were bowling. I have a favorite shot against spinners, haven't played that either. You can learn something in every innings. There are situations in Test cricket when you have to play according to the demands of the situation. You can't play your normal game. It's a learning thing. For me and for whoever is batting with me."
Taking a bit of heat, Tamim told the reporters again, "If I play, everyone says I am playing. When I bat slowly, everyone says I bat slowly. Please tell me what I should do. This thing is so extra! If I play normal, I'm playing kill. If you play slowly, you say you are playing slowly. Please let me play like me. Let me play my game.”
