A Juga League leader was killed in Jessore's Abhaynagar in a clash between the two sides, a Juba Dal activist was killed in police firing in Faridpur and a Jamaat activist was killed in a clash with Awami League in Ishwardi in Pabna. However, a source from Ishwardi said, one more person is missing. The body is believed to have disappeared.
On the other hand, Alamgir Hossain Shimul (35), general secretary of Nawapara Municipal Jubo League in Jessore, was killed in an attack by picketers during the anti-hartal rally. At this time, some of his associates were seriously injured. It is said that the incident took place in the highway police outpost area near Nawapara Ferry Ghat around 8:30 am on Sunday.
It has already been said that a Youth Dal worker was killed in Faridpur firing by the police. Two more people were shot at this time. They have been admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital. The casualty occurred in the clash between the hartal supporters and the police around 8:30 am on Sunday.
Our Ishwardi representative said that in the morning Jamaat took out a procession in Muladuli of Ishwardi in favor of the hartal. The procession was attacked by local Awami League and Chhatra League workers. Jamaat worker Julhas (40) died. Seven more people were shot in this incident. However, Jamaat has claimed that one of their workers is missing. However, many local Awami League leaders and activists were seriously injured.
