The Dhaka Times Desk Today, on the second day of the strike, a truck driver was killed in Chittagong by stone pickers. On the other hand, the Karatoya Express train derailed due to vandalism on the railway line at Lalmonir Hat.

A truck driver lost control and was killed on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway in Satkania of Chittagong after being hit by stones thrown by picketers. The deceased truck driver was identified as Wasim, aged 30/32. This incident happened in Hasmat shop area of Chadaha Union of Satkania early this morning.

Chittagong Additional Superintendent of Police (South) office said that when the picketers threw stones at the driver of the truck, he lost control and fell into the ditch. The truck driver died on the spot.

On the other hand, Karatoya Express train derailed when picketers vandalized the railway line at Lalmonirhat. 30 people were injured.

Meanwhile, Narayanganj has been under siege. Despite extensive security measures, there have been incidents of bombings in the capital as well.
