Tigers again won the series against New Zealand!

Many things can be said. But at this moment I remember something Brendon McCullum said before the start of the Wednesday series. He joked, "There's no risk of losing the match 4-0 this time, because it's three matches!" The danger is that New Zealand is now facing a 3-0 defeat! In the second ODI of the series, the Tigers have confirmed the series victory as well as taking a 2-0 lead in the series by bowling out New Zealand for 207 runs and winning by 40 runs.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bat. Tamim Iqbal's opening partnership of 63 runs with the anointed Shamsur Rahman gave Bangladesh a good start but the run rate was slow. Shamsur kept himself wrapped up playing in place of Enamul Haque.

Tamim was bowled by Anderson while playing aggressively after reaching his half century. Tamim's 86-ball innings, which scored the highest 58 runs of the match, had 5 fours and 1 six. Earlier, Shamsur (25) was stumped by Nathan McCullum while playing under the pressure of the run rate.

Mominul played in a natural manner and scored 31 runs with the help of five 4s from 34 balls. After that, Muminul was caught by Nathan while pooling Corey Anderson's ball.

Like in the first match, captain Mushfiqur Rahim and Naeem Islam took control of the team in the second match. The pair took the team to a comfortable total of 169 for 3. However, Neesham and Kyle Mills dismissed Mushfiq, Naeem and Nasir Hossain in three consecutive overs in the batting power play.

At one stage, Bangladesh became 173/6, but thanks to the effective innings of Sohag Gazi (26), Mahmudullah Riyad (21) and Mashrafe Bin Murtaza (14), Bangladesh got a fighting capital of 247 runs.

Bangladesh's best pacer Mashrafe Bin Mortuza struck first when the Kiwis came to play. Hamish Rutherford is bowled by the Kiwi opener for 1 run. Soon after Mashrafe, Sohag and Razzaq struck a pair of strikes as New Zealand lost three wickets for just 35 runs.

Mashrafe did not let it last after Taylor and Corey Anderson put together a 61-run partnership for the fourth wicket to give the Kiwis a glimmer of hope. In the 27th over, Mashrafe broke the pair by turning Corey Anderson into a great catch behind the wicket by Mushfiqur.

Muminul trapped Brendon McCullum LBW and Rubel Hossain ran out Tom Latham shortly after. Bangladesh took control of the match by making New Zealand 131/6.

Sohag came in to bowl the second power play and sent Neesham back, dismissing wicket-taker Ross Taylor in the next over. Mominul caught Mahmudullah before Nathan McCullum got 25 off 23 balls.

Mashrafe, who started the destruction of the Kiwis, returned the fourth ball of the 47th over to Southee to ensure New Zealand's all-out. Bringing Bangladesh the joy of winning the series!

On November 3, it will be confirmed in Fatulla whether New Zealand is being washed away or not!
