The Dhaka Times Desk Laurie Love, the 28-year-old son of a British Baptist minister, has been accused of hacking the US Army, NASA, and other government websites.
Earlier on Friday, Love was arrested from his home by the British intelligence agency, the investigative agency said that Love had stolen various information from 2012 to 2013 of various US government sites from his own home computer, but it was also reported that he did not sell or transfer these to anyone for money.
Hacker Love's father is a British minister and his mother is a prison teacher.
According to the US, Love has stolen a variety of classified US information, with about 5,000 separate stolen files including the federal budget and more.
Love used some special names like “nsh” “route” “peach” in his hacking. Three other unnamed Australian-Swedish nationals are involved as Love's accomplices. However, the authorities refused to give any information about the arrest of the 3 people.
From Love's computer, various information and chat history about America and US site hacks were found, where Love's America-related giganism was clearly revealed.
Meanwhile, the investigative agency said Lav is a highly sensitive hacker and is in the process of gathering more information about him. If Love is extradited to the US, he could be sentenced to at least 10 years in prison or fined or both on the hacking charges.
