After the case, the police arrested Romana Islam Swarna from a house in C Block of Lalmatiar in the capital on Friday afternoon.
The claim of the deceived is that Romana has stolen crores of rupees by marrying 28 people like this. Police say that every member of the family has admitted their involvement in the initial interrogation.
It is known that Romana used to open Facebook ID with different identities. He used to upload many offensive (offensive) pictures. Then he would target expatriates and make them friends and build love relationships. He used to grab money. In the same way, Romana extorted two and a half crore taka from Saudi expatriate Kamrul Islam Jewel at different times in a year, sometimes in the name of buying a flat and sometimes buying a car.
Model and actress Romana Islam Swarna was arrested on all such fraud charges. Earlier, a Saudi expatriate named Kamrul Hasan Jewel filed a case against Swarna at Mohammadpur police station.
Based on her case, Swarna was arrested from a house in Lalmatiar C Block of Mohammadpur in the capital by Mohammadpur police station of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Confirming the fact that Kamrul Islam was cheated, DC Harun Or Rashid of DMP told the media that we have received many complaints of such fraud against Romana Swarna, without giving information about 28 people. Romana has blackmailed many by seducing them. Those who were cheated on the telephone made these complaints. We are asking them to come to the police station.
Kamrul Islam Jewel, an expatriate who was cheated, said, "He started a good relationship with me." Then he took Tk 1 crore 90 lakh in the name of buying a flat in Lalmatia. After I came home, he called me at home. I go to him. They fed me something and made me unconscious. Then took my bad picture and got my stamp signature. That's how he forced me to marry him.
