NSA is monitoring the location of mobile users!

The Dhaka Times Desk Washington Post এর প্রতিবেদনে উঠে এসেছে আমেরিকান গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা NSA বিভিন্ন ব্যক্তির মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্ক ট্র্যাক করে তাদের অবস্থান সম্পর্কে গোপন নজরদারি করছে!

Washington Post বর্তমানে রাশিয়াতে অবস্থানরত বিখ্যাত হ্যাকার Edward Snowden এবং রাশিয়ান একটি সংস্থার বরাত দিয়ে জানায়, আমেরিকার গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা বিভিন্ন নেটওয়ার্ক প্রোভাইডারের সহায়তায় মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্কের মাধ্যমে কোটি কোটি মানুষের অবস্থানের উপর গোপন নজরদারি চালাচ্ছে।

Meanwhile, contrary to published reports, the NSA has said that such surveillance is very lawful. In this case, even if users do not use location tracking software, such surveillance is legal, NSA said.

The report also says, in case of NSA monitoring all users, even if the users do not call, even if the user is within the range of a certain network tower, it is possible to confirm his location through the network system!

The NSA, however, has said that the surveillance is only targeting foreign nationals who are traveling to the US and that it is being done to ensure national security. No such surveillance is being done on any native citizen. But the Washington Post's report says otherwise, with data showing that the NSA is conducting surveillance on a significant number of American citizens.
