The Dhaka Times Desk A notice has been issued not to execute Mullah, who has been sentenced to death for war crimes. His lawyer Barrister Abdur Razzaq gave this notice today.
After the International Criminal Tribunal sentenced Kader Molla to life imprisonment on February 5 for war crimes in 1971, the Appellate Division increased the sentence to death on September 17. Based on this, the tribunal issued the death warrant of Quader Molla on Sunday.
"It is requested not to proceed with the execution of the execution on the basis of the warrant," the notice said. It is also requested that no further action be taken till the disposal of our client's application for review of the judgment, which he has already initiated." Source: bdnews24.com
