Residents of the capital are suffering from problems. The authorities have no idea! In 3 years, transportation has decreased by 1500

Dhaka Times Report. Already, the residents of the capital have to suffer due to various problems including traffic jams. After that, the transportation problem has become a bigger problem. Employees going to and from office in the morning and evening have to suffer a lot.

Recently, the transport crisis in the capital has become evident. Employees going to office in the morning have to face extreme hardships. Coming to the bus stop, there is no bus. Although one or two buses are available, the crowd makes it impossible to board them. This situation has increased in recent times. Transportation problems have arisen on every route. After arriving at Mirpur number 10, it was found that there was no bus in the morning. Although all the house flowers are coming one by one. There is no room for moles in it. Moreover, on several routes, bus owners have recently introduced 'seating services' in the hope of getting higher fares. Due to which the transportation problem has become more pronounced. Where the fare of local cars from Mirpur 10 to Farmgate is 7 or 8 taka. But those seating services are charging 10 to 12 taka. And not only that, the fare at the place where you can get off is 10 or 12 taka. Only God can tell how BRTI gave the route permit for these vehicles!

Local bus fare from Motijheel to Farmgate is Rs.6. But by writing the sitting service, his rent is charged at 10 taka. Again, it is not always the seating that goes on. Sometimes it is seen, being taken while standing. This poor condition is also in Balaka transport from Sayedabad to Gazipur. Balaka Paribahan has sitting service written, the fare is also charged more. But if you look at the car from the outside, you can understand how many passengers are standing! In this way fares are being collected irregularly from the passengers on every route but there is no monitoring by the concerned authorities.

It has been reported that the Ministry of Communications has announced that it is going to allow 2,000 more taxi cabs at the same moment when the citizens of the capital are grinding due to transportation problems. It is known that the transport in the capital was 5,500. In the last 3 years, there has been a decrease of about 1500 due to various reasons. While the population of the capital has increased by about 50% in the last 5 years, the transport has decreased even more! If this is the case, how will the citizens of the capital move? Traffic jams in the capital city are already suffering from unbearable conditions for hours, on top of that, the transport problem has become a 'death blow' today. Capital residents want relief from this situation.
