The Dhaka Times Desk It is very cold all over the country. Along with this, due to thick fog, human suffering has reached the extreme. Especially the condition of the lower circle is very pathetic.
The whole country has been affected by cold and fog. Like yesterday it is still covered in thick fog. The sun has not been seen since morning. As the sun is covered by fog, the winter intensity has intensified. Despite the skyrocketing winter wear market, the winter wear buying spree is going on.
India's West Bengal and its surrounding areas are witnessing severe winters as the extension of the sub-continental high pressure belt, the Meteorological Department said. Moreover, some moisture has spread in the sky of Bangladesh. It is so small in quantity that this moisture cannot form clouds - which is why it floats as fog. And if there are no clouds, the severity of winter also increases.
The Meteorological Department says that the fog will not clear until there is strong wind or rain. The Meteorological Department said that a cold current will flow over Ishwardi, Kushtia, Jessore and Srimangal regions till 6 pm today. Temperatures in these regions have already dropped below 10 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, the temperature is between 10 and 11 degrees Celsius in almost all the regions of the country except a few regions of Chittagong Division. Last Friday, the lowest temperature in the country was 9 degree Celsius in Chuadanga. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius in Jessore, 9.5 degrees Celsius in Srimangale and Ishwardi yesterday. Yesterday, the minimum temperature in the capital Dhaka was 12.3 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the maximum temperature was 25.7 degrees Celsius in Teknaf city.
Severe winters have increased the suffering of low-income people. Because now due to increasing intensity of winter, severe cold is felt throughout the day. Low income people are working in Konkan winters in semi-winter clothes due to severe winter outside the house.
